Pensions doyen Roy quits Credit Suisse for State Street
State Street Global Advisors appointed Amlan Roy as global chief retirement strategist. He joined from Credit Suisse where he spent 20 years, latterly as head of global demographics and pensions research. At the Swiss bank, Roy held a variety of roles including founding director of the European pensions advisory and structuring group and director of the fixed income research and global demographics project.
Campbell Lutyens recruits former Hungarian PM
Alternative asset advisory firm Campbell Lutyens appointed former Hungarian prime minister Gordon Bajnai in a part-time executive role. Bajnai, who has been on the firm's advisory board since 2011, will become chairman of the board. Prior to becoming prime minister, he had been an investment banker with Creditanstalt, chief executive of one of Hungary’s largest private equity holding companies and head of the country's National Development Agency.
