It's been another busy week of people stepping down and stepping up into new roles across the City.

Insurance giant Prudential said that chief executive officer Mike Wells will stand down next month. Chair Shriti Vadera said his replacement will be based in Asia. In the meantime, Mark Fitzpatrick, the finance director, takes over on an interim basis, but has asked the board not to consider him for the permanent role.
