Trading Places: Moves from BofA, Marsh, KPMG and Columbia Threadneedle Investments

Tom Montag, the head of Bank of America's investment bank, is retiring at the end of the year. Montag, who steered the unit through the 2008 financial crisis, joined Bank of America that same year as executive vice president of sales and trading after more than 22 years at Goldman Sachs. His successor, along with the bank's vice chair Anne Finucane, who is also retiring, will be announced in the coming weeks, the bank's statement said.

KPMG has appointed John McCalla-Leacy as its new UK head of environmental social and governance. McCalla-Leacy is joint UK head of technology M&A services at KPMG and a member of the firm’s board and its people committee, which handles areas such as partner promotions and remuneration. He will replace Sue Bonney in the role when she retires from the firm next month. McCalla-Leacy, the firm’s first Black board member, will step down from the board when he takes up his new role. A spokesperson for the firm said succession planning for his replacement is underway.
