Vanguard tapped a former BlackRock executive as its next leader, putting an outsider in charge of the asset manager for the first time in its roughly 50-year history. Salim Ramji, who led BlackRock’s ETFs and index investing until earlier this year, will start as Vanguard’s chief executive in July.

The Citigroup executive responsible for implementing a sweeping overhaul of its business is departing the Wall Street bank. Titi Cole, one of the most senior women and Black executives at Citigroup, is leaving around a month after the conclusion of a reorganisation at the bank code-named Project Bora Bora that saw thousands of roles cut.
