Benôit Desserre’s almost three decades with Societe Generale have taken him from Paris to Sydney via New York and Dallas – and back to Paris again.

The business lines he has helped to build have been just as diverse. That's "the beauty" of working in the French banking group, he said, and his latest role should give him an opportunity yet to bring together all of the lessons learnt.
