Treasury MP urges more time for feedback on Bank of England, FCA’s complaints scheme

The chair of the Treasury Committee has written to the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to urge them to extend a deadline for a consultation on consumer complaints against them.

The FCA, the Bank and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) launched a consultation on 20 July on a proposal to revise the complaints scheme which handles complaints against the three regulators. The consultation is due to end on 14 September.
