Treasury urges private equity firms to sign Women in Finance Charter

The Treasury is trying to get male-dominated private equity firms on board with its flagship initiative to boost the number of women in financial services — despite widespread scepticism within the industry.

More than 200 companies, including major banks and asset managers, have signed up to the Woman in Finance Charter — but no private equity firms have yet joined.
