Tremont Advisers, part of OppenheimerFunds, has hired Rupert Allan as managing director of its UK subsidiary, Tremont TASS (Europe).

Allan comes from Société Générale where he was executive director of the structured alternative investment team, responsible for marketing alternative investment products globally.
