Tremont loses investment chief

Bruce Ruehl has resigned as chief investment strategist of Tremont Advisers, the New York-based alternative investment advisory firm.

Tremont Advisers, which has $8.5bn (€9.8bn) under advice in hedge funds, has promoted Bill Brown, a director of investment strategies, to replace Ruehl, who is understood to be joining another investment advisory firm.
