Triton battles disability discrimination case at employment tribunal

A full hearing of the case has been scheduled for June 2024

An acrimonious workplace dispute at the Swedish private equity firm Triton reached an employment tribunal this week when a former employee claimed he had been the subject of discrimination on the grounds of a disability and had been victimised and harassed at work.

The London Central Employment Tribunal heard that Sebastian Lapinski had started work for Triton at its office in Stockholm as an investment adviser in 2015 before moving to London in 2020 where he became a member of the firm's limited liability partnership. In August 2021 he was diagnosed as suffering from epilepsy and resigned from the firm in December 2022.
