The Wizard of Oz is making a comeback. But Australian hedge fund manager Greg Coffey may have lost some of the old magic, with several former backers deciding not to put their money into his new venture.

London's hedge fund community was buzzing earlier this year with news that star trader Coffey planned a blockbuster return to the industry, six years after he retired.
