Hedge fund Pine River Capital Management, which closed funds amid a wave of client withdrawals last year, is to leave its headquarters in upmarket Mayfair.

Its decision comes amid a changing of the guard in London's hedge fund heartland, which has seen a number of big firms leave in recent years — but other renowned names have announced plans to expand.
