Skandia Liv, the life arm of Skandia, the troubled Nordic financial services firm, has decided to scrap management bonues following an internal investigation which revealed irregularities in the way bonuses and benefits had been paid.

On Monday it was disclosed that three former directors of Skandia could face legal action from the Nordic financial services giant following an internal probe into irregularities of bonus and options plans.
