Tulip developers claim Londoners support divisive City tower

The developers of a proposed viewing tower that could be the tallest structure in the City of London have pushed back against criticism of what one objector has called “a monument to arrogance”.

The team behind The Tulip, a 305-metre tower that will include 12 floors looking over the capital with a bar, restaurants and an education facility, say a poll commissioned by the project shows strong support among Londoners.
