Tullett Prebon CEO John Phizackerley has turned to a former colleague from his days at Lehman Brothers and then Nomura to run a new division at the interdealer broker.

Sam Ruiz, a former head of equities trading at both Nomura and Lehman in London, joined Tullett as chief executive of its institutional services unit this month, a spokeswoman confirmed.
