Interdealer broker Tullett Prebon suffered a network outage late yesterday — capping a difficult week for parent firm TP Icap after the surprise announcement that its finance chief is to leave.

TP Icap said in a statement this morning that the outage started at 4.50pm GMT on Thursday and that the firm had "been working with our network and hardware providers to resolve the issue". It said the company was working on the outage as a "matter of urgency".
