Turquoise picks Morgan Stanley pair for delayed launch

Morgan Stanley has emerged as a key player in Project Turquoise, the putative European equity trading system backed by a consortium of investment banks, after two of the bank's executives were picked for the top jobs at the new company.

The banking consortium said today Eli Lederman, the head of electronic trading at the US investment bank, will become the chief executive officer of Project Turquoise on December 1.
