Twitter, TikTok under pressure from MPs over plans to tackle online fraud

Tech giants Microsoft, Twitter, Snapchat and TikTok are under pressure from the Treasury Committee over how they plan to combat online fraud.

Mel Stride, chair of the influential group of MPs, has written to the social platforms to ask them to detail their policies for cracking down on harmful online material that results in individuals being defrauded.
