UBS and Rothschild head European deal table

The big US investment banks have lost out in the first quarter to European houses, according to online database Zephus Corporate Finance.

UBS Warburg and Rothschild are ranked first and second on announced or completed deals involving a European acquirer or target. Last year's top bank, Goldman Sachs, has dropped to sixth place, while Morgan Stanley is placed third.
