UBS has turned to another former JPMorgan dealmaker to run its mergers and acquisitions business in Europe, following the departure of Séverin Brizay earlier this year.

Nestor Paz-Galindo, who joined UBS in 2016 to lead its M&A team serving private equity firms, has been promoted to run M&A for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to people familiar with the matter.
