UBS Asia chairman steps down

The chairman of UBS' investment banking business in Asia is reportedly stepping down two months after the Swiss bank hired a vice-chairman for its Japanese banking unit.

Rodney Ward, who has worked at UBS for nearly 35 years, is leaving his role as chairman for Asia investment banking but will remain as honorary president of the investment bank in the region, according to the Wall Street Journal, part of the Dow Jones group that owns Financial News.
