UBS shifts hybrid working rules, asks staff to be in the office on Monday or Friday

The Swiss bank has tightened its remote working policies as firms increasingly ask employees to spend more time in the office

UBS has shifted its hybrid policy, asking bankers to be in the office at least three days a week — including on a Monday or Friday — and introducing a new system to track when employees will work together in person.

The Swiss bank, which has a more flexible approach to remote working than many of its rivals, told staff about the changes on 13 March.
