Swiss bank UBS has warned some of its bankers to reconsider travel to China following a request by authorities in the country for one of its wealth managers to aid in an investigation, says a person familiar with the situation.

The nature of the probe and the authorities’ interest in speaking with the banker, a woman from Singapore, is not known, the person said Saturday.
