UBS created a new team of top dealmakers to focus on major clients to be led by its former global co-head of investment banking Ros L’Esperance. In Europe, Ian Carnegie-Brown, chair of global consumer and retail dealmaking, and Jason Hutchings, who leads private financing markets, will join the new team. Vik Hebatpuria, who leads its global industries unit, former Credit Suisse dealmaker Gerry Lodge and co-head of industrials Simon Smith will join the executive client group in the Americas. In Asia, Catherine Cai, Fergus Horrobin and Janice Hu will be moving across.
