UBS chair Colm Kelleher has said his bank holds more than enough capital to survive its next shock, as the Swiss lender eyes potential growth in the US and Asia.

In an interview with local newspaper NZZ to mark a year since the bank's dramatic rescue of Credit Suisse, Kelleher said the bank was now looking to the future after taking over a "reluctant bride".
