UBS has made a raft of changes to its team of bankers advising companies on how to raise money in the equity capital markets, just months after naming a new global head of the business.

Javier Martinez-Piqueras, who was installed as global head of ECM at the Swiss bank in May, has wasted little time in shaking up the business as it looks to gain market share in both Europe and the US.
