UBS is planning to bolster its private banking offering in India, according to reports, as it looks to cash in on a burgeoning wealth management market in the wake of its Credit Suisse takeover.

The Swiss bank is looking to gain a foothold with India's rich after the deal, Bloomberg reports, by taking advisory headcount up to 25 in the country with at least seven new hires.
