UBS has opened a wealth management office in the French city of Toulouse and plans to go after wealthy accounts in the South-west region of France.

The move is part of UBS' efforts to grow its wealth management unit in regional France. Since 1999 when the bank opened a wealth management office in Paris, UBS has since opened in Lyon, Nantes, Lille, Bordeaux, Cannes, Marseilles, Strasbourg and Aix-en-Provence.
