UBS said Laurence Grafstein will join its investment banking division as managing director and co-head of mergers and acquisitions in the Americas, based in New York.

Grafstein, who joins UBS from Rothschild, will be co-head of UBS's M&A advisory alongside Marc-Anthony Hourihan and will report to Steve Cummings, chairman of UBS's investment banking division in the Americas, according to a memorandum from Cummings yesterday.
