UBS has bolstered its London team advising clients on off-market transactions — an increasingly important division in investment banks as more companies tap private equity capital rather than turning to public markets.
Charles Favard, formerly a senior director at CBRE Capital Advisors, the property group, has joined the Swiss bank as head of real estate clients for the private funds group, according to a January 30 memo seen by Financial News.
