UBS has reshuffled senior management in its equity-linked origination business, promoting one of its top originators to a role within its financial institutions group, and hiring a leading European convertible bonds banker from rival Morgan Stanley.
In an internal memo, UBS said its has promoted James Eves, formerly co-head of the capital and equity-linked team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa with Vinod Vasan, to run its financial institution group equity capital markets business in the region.
