UBS has launched a new unit combining existing employees of the Swiss bank and former Credit Suisse staff to focus on providing data and strategic advice to clients in its investment bank.

UBS has started a new team called strategic insights and advisory, according to a memo seen by Financial News, which will combine the teams of its strategic insights group with a similar unit at Credit Suisse called corporate insights.
