UBS has appointed a head of financial sponsor coverage for its Asia-Pacific business in Hong Kong, two weeks after losing the former incumbent to rival Deutsche Bank.

Stephen Gore has been promoted internally to lead the business. He replaces Angus Barker, who joined Deutsche as a managing director and head of financial sponsor coverage for the region.
