UBS has tapped JPMorgan veteran Sarah Youngwood to become its next chief financial officer, as Kirt Gardner prepares to step down next year in the latest executive change at the bank.

The Swiss lender said that Gardner, who has been its group CFO for the past five years, will step down to "pursue other opportunities" in May, and will oversee a two-month transition period with Youngwood before leaving.
