Swiss banking group UBS has put forward a French banker and business founder, and a risk expert who lectures at Leeds university to join its top governing body, as non-executives David Sidwell and Isabelle Romy stand down.
Nathalie Rachou, who has held a seat on Societe Generale’s board for 12 years, came up through the ranks at rival Crédit Agricole before founding an asset management business called Topiary Finance in 1999. She will stand for election at UBS’s annual general meeting on 29 April.
