UBS has promoted one of its top emerging markets debt bankers to vice-chairman in its global capital markets division, a move designed to strengthen and develop the Swiss bank’s client businesses in the central Europe, Middle East and African region.
Richard Luddington, a managing director and former head of the bank's Cemea debt capital markets origination effort in London, took on the new responsibilities in the GCM division last week, reporting to David Soanes, global head of capital markets for Europe.
