UBS reinstates economist suspended in ‘Chinese pig’ row

Paul Donovan will return to work later this week

The UBS economist suspended in the wake of comments he made about swine flu in China, which led to accusations of racism, will return to work at the Swiss bank.

Paul Donovan, chief economist at UBS Global Wealth Management, will be back at his desk later this week, according to a spokeswoman for the bank.
