Louise Wilson, head of international syndicate at UBS, has been promoted to European head of equity capital markets following Jim Renwick taking on the role of chairman of corporate broking.

Last week Renwick, former head of European ECM, was given the new role of chairman of corporate broking as well as head of UK ECM. He will now focus on UBS's big UK clients such as Vodafone, the mobile operator, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. The move comes as banks battle it out for supremacy in the UK corporate broking market.
