UBS's recruitment of senior investment bankers for its business in the US shows little sign of slowing.

The Swiss bank has appointed Jerry Marcus from Bank of America Merrill Lynch as vice-chairman of its investment bank in the Americas. He will join in September and work on helping to build UBS's coverage of the retail sector in the region.
