UBS is curbing travel for its European dealmakers as the Omicron Covid-19 variant is forcing large City firms to rethink their policies for employees.

The Swiss bank has told staff in its global banking division in Europe not to travel for business purposes as a precautionary measure, according to people familiar with the matter. Across UBS as a whole, government guidelines are still being followed in local jurisdictions.
