UBS is using super-fast computer algorithms to find work for back-office staff whose jobs have been replaced by super-fast computer algorithms.

The Swiss group has stripped out around 800 operations roles, predominantly from its investment bank, over the past two years, as a result of developing 1,000 “robots” to automate tasks that would previously have been performed manually.
