Stephen Carr, UBS Warburg's global head of research, is to retire after more than 20 years with the investment bank.

Although there is no connection, Carr's decision to leave is bad timing for UBS Warburg, which at the end of March lost Colin Buchan, its global head of equities, after 15-plus years at the bank.
