John Fraser, chairman and chief executive of UBS Global Asset Management, has warned fund companies that a clear line must be draw between managers who run traditional funds and those running hedge funds.

Speaking at the annual Institute of Economics Conference, Fraser urged separation of these businesses and cast doubt over the ability of traditional managers to run hedge funds.
