UBS has appointed new heads of a group serving some of the world’s largest alternative investors as part of broader changes to the leadership of its investment bank.

The Swiss bank has named Simona Maellare, one of the most influential women in the City of London, and US-based Matt Eilers as co-heads of its alternative capital group, according to a person familiar with the matter.
