Leveraged buyout funds that invested in the UK despite the political and economic uncertainty of Brexit have been handsomely rewarded, according to data provider eFront.

In 2018, the UK became one of the best-performing regions globally, with private equity funds delivering an average internal rate of return (IRR) of 15.87% and an average multiple of 1.64x on invested capital, according to the software provider’s latest Global Private Equity Performance report.
