David Frost and Michel Barnier, the chief negotiators for the UK and European Union, will hold an emergency meeting next week in an attempt to salvage the Brexit talks.
A person familiar with the matter said that the negotiating teams will meet again on September 1, a week before the next scheduled round of talks.
