The UK’s auditing watchdog has ramped up its efforts to transform into a more powerful body ahead of an official rebranding.

In a statement published on 5 February, the Financial Reporting Council announced its plans for “a major shake-up of its oversight and supervisory functions to speed up the pace of enforcement investigations”.
