UK banks can restart dividend and bonus payments, the PRA says

The regulator will monitor cash bonuses for senior bankers as dividends resume

Britain's banks can restart dividend and bonus payments nine months after regulators told lenders to stop distributing money to shareholders.

The Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) said lenders were now in a strong enough position to resume “prudent” dividend payments.
