UK companies drag their feet over audit disclosures

Many UK companies disclose only minimum information about the effectiveness of their audit committee, research has found.

Independent Audit, which provides advice to company audit committees, surveyed 85 annual reports of top UK companies and found that many company audit committees have made a significant effort to report more fully to investors about their structure and remit.
