The UK's Conservative Party has introduced measures to reform the national pension system by halting mass closure of occupational schemes and improving levels of personal savings.

The Conservatives want to drop government proposals that will limit the size of individual retirement pots, encourage membership of occupational schemes and reduce the burden on state benefits.
